Patrick Christie, CEO & President: Mr. Christie has over 15 years experience in technology development and consulting. Most recently, he was the VP of Operations for WAM!NET's government division, which he helped build into a 350 employee business unit, which delivered over $1.6 billion of network services under contract with the US Navy. Prior to WAM!NET, Mr. Christie was President of Cybernet Systems, a technical systems integration professional services firm. Under his leadership, Mr. Christie built Cybernet into a highly profitable firm with over 50 employees and generating over $6 million a year in technical services provider implementing projects on a national basis.
Michael Borman, Executive Vice President & COO: Mr. Borman has over 20 years of experience in executive and consulting roles driving top-line revenue growth and commercializing new products and services. Mr. Borman has held senior positions in product marketing, business development, sales and strategic and corporate planning, with companies including Accenture, (formerly Andersen Consulting), Pillsbury, Ceridian and WAM!NET. Mr. Borman received an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he was a Benton Scholar. He also received a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is frequent lecturer at the University of St. Thomas MBA program.
Eric Jackson, President, Conservis Ag Services: Mr. Jackson is responsible for identifying and developing the market for the suite of Conservis agricultural solutions. With 25+ years of commercial agriculture experience, Mr. Jackson brings a depth of knowledge and industry contacts, and a unique perspective to the opportunities and challenges facing participants in the agricultural supply chain. Mr. Jackson has previous corporate experience as Manager, Market Development for The Pillsbury Company (1983-88); CEO & President of International Proteins Corporation (1988-1998); and SVP and on the Board of Directors of The Scoular Company (1998-2007). In 2007 Jackson co-founded CP Holdings LLC to help agricultural landowners capture opportunities in the evolving carbon offset markets. He was also on contract as CEO-in-Residence for Renewable Energy with the University of Minnesota Office for Technology Commercialization. Mr. Jackson has a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois and currently serves on the boards of the American Fats & Oils Association and the Minnesota International Center.
Charles Faison, CTO: Mr. Faison is responsible for Conservis's technology, ongoing product maintenance and support. Mr. Faison has over 24 years of experience designing and implementing software applications. Most recently, he founded the eBusiness practice at Analysts International, and as Director of eBusiness, he guided several major companies to bring their business processes online. At WAM!NET, Mr. Faison led the development and delivery of a large scale image management application which improved customer's businesses throughout the medical, printing/publishing, and entertainment industries. As Director of Emerging technologies at Cargill, Mr. Faison started and led the group, which searched and developed advanced technologies.
Jack Makowski, Vice President Sales and Marketing: Mr. Makowski has over 25 years of senior sales, marketing and business development management experience at various stage companies- startups and Fortune 200 including WAM!NET, Hoechst Celanese, and Vanguard Graphics, International. He was responsible for bringing various products and services to market with sales in excess of $100MM, consistently outperforming the market. Mr. Makowski is responsible for customer acquisition and marketing at Conservis. He has a B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, achieving honors at both institutions.
